We are always so satisfied with our meals when we are at the Bonney Read! You can’t get fresher seafood and the best quality anywhere like you can here! So delicious
The design of the old South Street Seaport combined with inventive cocktails and seafood plates by Chef Avery make this a must stop in Asbury Park. Highly recommended.

Love this classy seafood spot in Asbury Park. I don't get down often, but love to make it in here for great seafood and drinks whenever possible. Most recent visit we did happy hour at the bar trying some of their bar snacks including , can o' sardines, Adobo wings, marinated balsamic mushrooms esabeche, fresh baked bread with Vermont creamery butter, seaweed and sea salt, sliced finocchiona and drinks - rum cocktail, pisco sour, white Russian, concord grape tequila, Indian summer and dessert. Bonney Read is great. I have been here only a few times, not one of my typical Asbury stops BUT ! my fiancé and I stopped by for happy hour last night and found ourselves asking, why aren't we here every Wednesday? Haha. Service is always great, friendly & helpful bartenders. The food is awesome, some things are a little more pricey than others, but you can easily choose affordable things on the menu and still have a great meal!
