I had an appetizer at the bar and planned on eating dinner too but I was totally ignored by the bartender I was a single woman and eating alone And that’s hard enough . I added up what I have eaten and left the cash on bar. Left hungry . I had eaten here before with my family and the service and food was awesome just a really bad experience last night.
From the food to the service, everything was excellent! We started dinner with the ultimate Bloody Mary and raw oysters! The oysters were perfectly briny. Then we had the New England clam chowder and the the jersey green clam chowder. Both were full of clams and bacon flavor. We finished our dinner with the fish and chips. The best we ever had and the homemade tarter sauce pour it over the top! We will definitely be returning soon!
I like this place, but charging $6 for a tiny loaf of bread with butter is just sad and weird. Sea salt doesn’t make it artisanal. Drinks are consistently good. Chowder is really good.
From cocktail to dessert had a great dinner tonight! Atmosphere is great, service was 5 star. First time there but will be back!
The drinks are delicious and well worth the price, and their fish and chips is probably my favorite.
