This place was outstanding in years past, went the other night to enjoy a gumbo as the weather had cooled off. Dissapointed. Sausage tasted like hot dogs, and there was only cubed white meat chicken breast in the gumbo, with no parsley or green onions to be seen. Sorry to say that as a cajun I can not endorse this as a gumbo, only a poor attempt at a classic cajun dish. Bring back the old recipe, or contact me to show you how to do it right. We had the gumbo, calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. it gave New Orleans a run for its money. my friend had the house pan roast and he loved it. will definitely be going back

I actually thought this place was new until I read the reviews. The food was really good. I liked being able to pick the number of how spicy I wanted my meal. I was annoyed that there were items on the menu that weren’t available & that the po boy sandwiches are not served on the weekend. The tails were left on the shrimp in the Jambalaya & Etoufee which is a big pet peeve of mine. We had a party of 10 & were told the check couldn’t be separated or paid for by items separately on the one check, which is a huge inconvenience.... read more
