Very frustrating renewal experience. My roommate was approved to renew the apartment by herself for the next lease term. I was not asking to be removed from the current active lease early, and I made clear that I could remain on the current lease until it expires. I have been living in this building for 5 years but it recently starts to increase all kinds of fees and try to charge you a lot in everything including amenities, water (went from 0 to $100 per month without giving the actual usage) and even roommate change fee (I requested to remove the roommate for the new lease term and they are going to charge me for $1,000!!). I love my apartment and the building amenities are great. The service response time has been quick although I haven’t needed it a lot (which is good). The move in process was a breeze and Janice was so great! They were extremely inflexible about letting me do my pre-move in inspection the evening before I collected keys but turns out there wasn’t much to inspect. Apartment was beautifully serviced.
