The Gospel brunch was terrific, wait staff were great, food excellent and the Gospel Music was really enjoyable, what voices!!! Will definitely come back and have already told friends of the great venue.
The Gospel Brunch was EXCELLENT-great variety of comfort foods-(fried chicken is Fabulous) breaded catfish, fried green tomatoes, cheesy grits, collard greens, diced sweet potatoes, biscuits with sausage gravy, waffles, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, salad, desserts- all cooked to perfection-Truality performed some great blues tunes we're all familiar with but with a Gospel lyric and message-also heard the best rendition of the national anthem that brought the house to its feet and also to tears -all in all a really fabulous w... read more
Been there many times always a blast,,but the "suitcase full of blues"band is really rockin and a very talented unique style ...had the best time thanks guys!!!
We came to the Blue Rooster and did not know we needed a reservation for the gospel brunch. There were 3 seats available which was just what we needed. There was plenty of food and it was delicious. Trualty performed at the brunch. Their music was excellent and they engaged the audience in a special way. We are grateful for the great customer service and wonderful performance.
Great place for southern food, catfish fingers, cheesy grits, fried chicken and collards. The bonus is the live gospel music from a VERY talented band on Sunday while dining. Be sure to reserve early so you get decent seats.
Fun place to go. Great bands. Good energy! I love their Mac and cheese.!
A great time was had by all 6 of us! Great food...garlic green beans were excellent and the fried chicken was the best!!! The band was the jumping and I even danced!!!! Fantastic fun!!! The band was superior and I loved the jazz! Can't wait to go by...I live in St. Petersburg so was well worth the drive!!!
It took forever to get food and drinks. It took 45 minutes to get biscuits. The only person that was nice was the kid that looks like kid 'n play singer "kid"
