I have "shy" veins and hate needles so never gave blood until recently when our group had a "Donor Day". The phlebotomist was great - didn't feel a thing! I will be back on a regular basis.
The Hendersonville Center is such a great place to donate, I'm in there every 2 weeks donating platelets, plasma, or a combination of the two. Just did my most recent donation on Monday, August 15th. Amanda, Chelsea, Brittany, Hannah, Anna and also Ashley from Spartanburg are so friendly and they have always found the vein on the first stick. They make me feel like I'm part of something bigger than myself. I'd even go so far as to say they make me feel like I'm part of the T.B.C. family, even! Donor ID# 14105795
I love going to the main facilities or when they have a blood drive close to my house and when it is time for donation date come up and also the staff is so friendly and helpful.
I used to hate donating blood. I went in one day to give while getting my oil changed and ended up making an appointment to give platelets because my count was so high. The ladies that work here are awesome and do everything to ensure that your donation experience is a positive one. Have I mentioned that they ALWAYS find my vein the first time?? This is an awesome organization and knowing that my donation is going to help someone local and in need is more than worth it.
They make it convenient and very comfortable. I will be a regular gor sure
