RecommendedDelicious Scallops as they should be being in the Mecca Harbor for fresh seafood and the best Carrot Cake on earth. These ships all around and across bring in thousands of pounds of seafood being the #1 area for volume since 1999. The best Carrot cake in South Florida is ok but this one is ridiculous and made in house. I would normally never order it ever since I love Key Lime pie after seafood dinners. Waitress recommended. The bread was fantastic, different from any bread I’ve had so all in all great place.
Amazing new menu! Delicious food and the service was outstanding! My boyfriend and I dined at the bar and had the Crispy Buffalo St. Louis Spare Ribs and the Chef Joe’s Grilled Veggie Flatbread pizza. Both dishes were delicious! The Strawberry Frosé is an absolute must! We can’t wait to return to try more fabulous dishes and drinks.
As a devoted black whale enthusiasts, it’s with a heavy heart I share the experience I had tonight as my first return since new management. The service was horrendous. Me and my fiancé literally sat there for 15 mins before anyone approached us for our drink order, after the fact that I had to go fetch the waiter myself. Great seafood, choices with Portuguese influences, nice staff. The bar decor is beautiful. I’ll definitely be going back.

This restaurant is located in an area of New Bedford where you’re like “why is this place here?” but the term “diamond in the rough” sums it up. Great atmosphere, excellent food (I love the fish and chips), friendly service. I recommend it to anyone in the area.
