Nice atmosphere and great menu!...and good cocktails
We sat at the bar for 25 min. Before we were acknowledged and that was because I waved in their face!! The last bartender was wonderful but the 2 before just said “we don’t have that anymore” when asked for 2 different drinks. Then never returned.
We have been long time fans, and I don’t want to totally dis the place, but there were a few thing on our first trip aafter out first trip under new ownership that I need to point out. I’m a martini drinker. My normal Kettle One martini was served in a coupe glass, not a martini glass. I complained that this was unsat, and the bartender agreed, but nothing was changed. Everything was perfect. The hospitality was spot on. We were excited to try the new menu. We were not disappointed. From the warm way we were greeted, the service and the absolutely delicious meal, we undoubtably recommend the Black Whale.
Really good,really fresh seafood served on the New Bedford City Pier.
trisha took extremely good care of our table needs!! our food was very nicely prepare but again the table staff knocked it out of the ballpark for us. thanks again trisha!!!
