I’m not one to write reviews or complaints but I have to shout out the new owners and management after what happend last night. My friends and I went to Black Whale for dinner to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl ordered a steak but it wasn’t cooked to her liking. She’s not one to complain or send back food but we convinced her to send it back to be cooked a little longer. 💕 Very pleasant staff and delicious food!
Everything was perfect! Just didn't like the bread that was served before the meal. Was salty! I would think that garlic bread would be a better option! Other than that everything was perfect!
Sat for at least 25 minutes. There were only people at two or three of the outdoor tables, but no one approached us. The menu looked interesting but we just left, Sadand hungry.
Five star rating had a family gathering.
Went to dinner last night and there were a few issues. we had an outdoor reservation for 8om - they tried to seat us inside while there were open tables outside. we waited for maybe 10-15 minutes before being seated. then we are seated at a table for 6 - there were two of us. Great service! Food was good except disappointed with dessert. Flourless cake was dry and chalky, needs some work plus a little vanilla ice cream on the side would hit the spot. Also never ask for the good old frozen mudslide, it was tasteless! Needs some real coffee ice cream otherwise don’t say you can make one! Disappointed with new changes, not too much of an improvement from last management. I was excited because I am a long time customer of Not Your Average Joe’s.
Food is exceptional and the Service by our waitress Erica was the best we’ve ever had… Could not have asked for a more professional, friendly and knowledgeable person
