We had dinner there last night after the Spring Game. BEST meal we have ever had in Blacksburg! Truly!

Finally, a restaurant in Blacksburg that is able to follow through on all basic areas of a great gourmet restaurant!! Don't take me wrong, Blacksburg has some comfort food gems but Black Hen provides a wonderful choice for upscale cuisine. Food was superb,service was excellent, cocktails great and all this in a very warm, charming and friendly atmosphere. We came in last night for our anniversary and sat in Bar Blue. The bartender Adam took great care of us, accommodating our gluten free needs and making us the best drinks we've ever had! The food was perfect and quick. The prices are reasonable and the location and atmosphere is great. This place is a gem in Blacksburg!
