This is the Best Restaurant around. Loved your food and your staff. Enjoyed most of all the time to sit and visit with my family.
Went in with family for Family Day lunch. This place filled up fast once we got there! Figured out why when we got our food. Burgers, pasta, Ribeye sandwiches (actual steak), fried green beans & meatloaf sliders were all awesome. The service was wonderful! If we ever come back to the area it will be on our “MUST REVISIT” list. Anyone that says it’s just average obviously hasn’t been to the chain steak houses in the area!
Good service and Very good portions. Meatloaf was great as well as the fried grouper basket. Really enjoyed the goat cheese and fried green tomatoes. Great place to dine
As always, great service. Our server made us aware that our food would be a bit late (totally fine with us) and subsequently took 50% off of both of our meals. She then proceeded to offer free desserts of our choice for us to enjoy at home. We ate hamburger steak, marinated chicken, and took home two slices of cake for $19.00. The servers go out of their way to ensure customers enjoy their meals. We love the food and the experiences we have at The Black Cow.
Southern hospitality all the way! I can see exactly why it’s a local favorite. Excellent service and of course the most AMAZING tasting STEAKS I’ve ever had coupled with home made side dishes and fresh local veggies. Highly recommend a stop here when in Columbus, GA!
We came in to town for fw at ft benning wanted to try some local places instead of chain resturants. Big mistake. The cheese sticks were cold the hostess was spaced out and was running arou s forgetting to seat people. The meatloaf was not award winning at all. The shrimp basket might as well been all beading. And the steak tips were ruff.
Server told us we couldn't take fig spread off the sandwich because they are all premade. Also got a Cuban and wings. Everything tasted as premade as they admit.
