Visited after coming from Albany to see Captain Marvel on IMAX. Staff were nice and fast. Chicken and waffles were great along with the raspberry sangria. If you’re going for lunch, hit up My Boulange that’s two doors down for desert!

Fantastic local restaurant with a great menu and enjoyable atmosphere. I found it very reasonablely priced, especially for the quality of the food and quantity of the portions. great service to boot. We are just visiting the area but will be back every time we stop here again.
Really enjoyed my dinner tonight! Service was good. Nice atmosphere. Ordered a Wild Leap Local Gold Ale. Meatloaf was exceptionally good and a very good portion size. Personally, I would have loved to have a few slices of bacon on top. Next time I will add it. Really liked the Pineapple casserole and the green beans were nothing special. Had to add some salt and pepper, just to give them some taste. The side salad was loaded up and the homemade ranch was tasty. I’ll be back to try the burgers and Po’ boys.
It is not that the Black Cow served poor quality food, but that it served food that was bland and greatly in need of seasoning.
