The restaurant is just an old house by the river. No mansion. The staff are dressed in tight short shorts and look like they should be at a dive bar. Bad service. Poor quality food for the price. The manager negotiated over a 6 beer. This will be our one and only visit. Overall 1 star- no make that Zeros
Another great 4th from the staff at the Mansion. Will be waiting for next years festivities. By the way great food and brews also.
Headed to The Mansion today for a couple summer craft beers with my fiancée. The pretzel sticks were delicious, but my favorite aspect of our visit here was definitely the abstract duck statue by the Lower Pavilion. I have never seen such inspiring art at a restaurant in Melbourne. We will definitely revisit this establishment very soon, and I am hoping for more stimulating decor.
First time visitor-6/4/16-dinner with the family. Dinner was awesome--save room for chocolate bread pudding OMG! Danny was knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back. The liquor, wine and specialty beer sections were amazing!

The hostess sat us within minutes of asking for a table for 2, on the terrace. The waitress came over after about 5 minutes or so and advised us that there was a party of 10 coming in at 7 and the table we were seated at would be need to make room for the party. It was already 6:30! Was so looking to enjoying dinner after long hard day and in the incompetent server ruined my experience so badly I do not think I will ever return. I'm typically pretty calm cool and collective BUT...........seriously ruined my time
Best burgers in town and great desserts. We love this place!
Unfortunately this rating is only because we couldn't sit upstairs with the view because our son was under 18. It's a restaurant environment during lunch hours and plenty of tables open.
