Dealt with Ryan at Motion, Whirby by phone and he emailed a quotation for hospital type bed and mattress immediately. Decided to rent a bed by the month and an agreement was made. Was happy with the service so far.
First visit there was to the second floor, their memory care unit. Very positive first impression. Staff were terrific and I felt my senior client was in capable hands. Lots of room in her studio apartment. Big walk in bathroom, lots of storage and closet space. Just enough room to make the space her own. Lots of very comfortable common area, very home like... Thrilled for my lady to be in care at this spot...

My mother has been living at The Berkeley on Pepperell for just over a year now. What a superb job everyone at The Berkeley has done providing her with a lovely, friendly and caring place to live. The facility is top rate – attractive and always spotless. The activities available every day have been interesting and well managed. My mother was a resident here and she did not have a great experience. Overall, this is not a place you should send a family member with cognitive issues. They are not equipped to handle patients with early, and definitely, not moderate dementia. The facility itself looks great, but unfortunately, the trade-off is being short-staffed or having less experienced staff.
