It's nice and clean. Apartments are modern and have all the amenities. The people generally keep to themselves. The pool can be fun to hang out. The staff is responsive and friendly. They have overnight security and I really like that they keep everyone posted about events in the community. They seem to own it when things don't work and that's respectable. I’ve lived at The Bennett for going on 2 years now. Unfortunately, my experience has declined significantly over that time. In just the past month, my vehicle has been broken into on site and items have been stolen directly from outside my apartment, including my front door decor, plants, and small furniture. Packages frequently go missing, and there have been ongoing issues with bicycles being stolen around the property. I love the amenities here. I find myself sitting at the elounge on my WFH days and it’s a pretty great space to do that :)! Also shout out to Stephen for helping us when we were first touring.
Can’t recommend this complex moving forward, despite my tenancy at its beginning being pretty satisfactory. Property crime has increased exponentially (I suspect) as better and better deals have been offered on leases. Nobody can ever do anything about it. Edited: at the moment my elevator has been out of operation for a month and 2 days (with no end in sight), grills haven’t worked since February, and our gym is closed due to a fire. They’ve waived any liability for a rent discount for any inoperable amenity in our lease. S... read more
