I love this store. It reminds me of gear shops in Colorado. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Wide selection of kayaks, bikes, and so much more! If I could give them a bonus star to make it 6 I would.
We just purchased our third bike from Bear Mountain. The staff is always helpful and friendly! Love having them in Waco!

Bear Mountain totally rocks...from the bike shop service/selection to the camping/hiking gear & apparel to the local ownership and first class service! One of my absolute favorite places to shop!

Love The Bear Mountain! The staff are always kind and helpful. I have bought a bike from there that I love and many outdoor shoes and accessories. If they don’t have what I need, they are always willing to order it. I love having access to a local shop that serves both my biking and outdoor adventure needs.
Best shop in town!! Lewie and Rod are the best mechanics in Waco and take excellent care of me and my bikes. The sells staff is friendly and very knowledgeable on the products. If you are looking For a new bike then go see Jeremehia and Bob!!
Best group of knowledgeable chill folks in Texas...great variety of bikes and outdoor equipment
They only care about there staff, they are rude and talked ruthlessly about the business next door to them . All the while the business around them showed them nothing but respect . Their merchandise is over priced and horrible quality and for the price of crap bikes I would rather go to Walmart or even the pawn shop before going to #crapmountain
