I regret moving into The Beacon. While the building itself looks nice, the management and services are terrible. Policies change without notice, the fire alarms constantly go off at night, and the mail system is chaotic. We used to have proper mailboxes—now packages are a hassle. Concierge is advertised as 24/7, but in reality it’s not even close. If you’re looking for true luxury, look elsewhere.
It’s relatively cheap but for a good reason! They claim to be a smoke free community but they also have a term in the lease explicitly stating that they will not be responsible for that. As a result, a lot of heavy and sophisticated smokers live in the community. You can smell cigarettes and/or marijuana (faint or strong) all day long in the hallways.
