This is actually my second time staying here, and I wanted to leave a review because I almost let the negative reviews scare me away. Honestly, I don’t really understand them. If you’re expecting a luxury beachfront resort or a high-end condo, this isn’t that. But that’s also not what this place is trying to be. Stayed here again and it was terrible. Rooms were filthy, small and need to be completelyrefurbished. The pool was cloudy and needed cleaning. The hot tub was green and nasty.
The room and property was clean. We had a great gulf view as I reserved. The restaurant/bar on site is a nice complement to the property. It is at the west end of the beach so not as much traffic or noise. One of the restaurant/bar attendants had an attitude when I ask for 4 plastic spoons so we could eat ice cream we had brought. But all other staff was very friendly and polite so didn’t let one bad apple spoil the great vibe from the other staff.
