Avoid if you have thick hair!! I saw Carla for a haircut and it is absolutely butchered beyond repair. I asked for shoulder-to-collarbone length hair with layers and short curtain bangs. I got an uneven back of my head, shelf layers, crooked bangs - honestly a bowl cut on top of a bob. You’re better off spending $25 at Supercuts than spending $95 on whatever Carla did. You owe it to yourself to go see Carla at the Basement Salon, she cut my hair recently and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. What stood out most was her attention to detail and how well she communicated throughout the appointment. She really listened to what I wanted, asked the right questions, and made sure she understood before she started. You can tell she has years of experience and genuinely cares about getting it right. I am middle aged man going through a mid life crisis.....so I grew my hair out for a year. My hair was amatuer at best. Then Carla gave me a wash, a cut and a style, and my hair turned pro. Great job Carla. Hire her.
