Service was good, food was great 👍 would go back
No so Magical Dining... We ended up walking out. The owner had the audacity to basically blame us for the 50 minute plus wait for our entree. He questioned us as to if we had a reservation, which we did. We arrived early but we’re seated 10 minutes late. People seated well after us were on their dessert before we even got our appetizer.The owner should have been apologetic instead of accusatory and even offered to make the situation better but it was quite the opposite.
food fell short of expectations. green tomatoes we're tasty but not enough sauce. tuna was nice but needed lighter sauce as one should not put mayo based sauce on delicate tuna. bread was tasty. strip was full of gristle. salad lackluster. spinach watery. risotto mushy sticky and tasteless. pork chop was tasty but overcooked compared to what we ordered. room felt overcrowded and too casual for price tag. wait for meal was too long. pie was just okay.
Good food. Servie was a bit slow bit overal a good experience.
This restaurant was on my bucketlist of places to go. We arrived (2 of us) at 9pm on a friday night assuming we can walk in and get a table and enjoy a nice meal. We drove 30 minutes to get there. They had a nice crowd but many tables were available and a party of 6 was leaving. We were told at the door that they are not taking any walk-ins. Their hours are stated as open until 11pm. I am very displeased and will never recommend them nor ever go back.

Went for opening night of Magical Dining. It was the first year for The Back Room as a participant. The portions were large (often Magical Dining menus are pared down portions). The steak was perfect! The sides ok (broccolini was cooked perfect, but I had ordered the asparagus), the Caesar salad was a little heavy on the dressing (I prefer a lighter hand on the dressing).
