The Atlantic is an amazing building with truly top-notch amenities. The gym is large and well-equipped, the hot tub is always clean and one of the luxuries in the building, and everything throughout the property is beautifully maintained. The concierge and doorman staff are consistently helpful and professional, and the valet service is excellent — I once forgot to text ahead and Shannon from valet still had my car to me in five minutes. Gorgeous building, fantastic amenities, kind and helpful concierge and doorman/valet employees but HORRIBLE management/maintenance team. It is the middle of July, we are in a heat wave, and the AC building wide has been out for 3 weeks. Maintenance does nothing and an employee named Tim lies to my husband and I (as well as all of our neighbors) everyday. Tim tells me "I will come back to check on this" and never does, leaving issues such as broken washer/dryers, AC/heat, and no hot water undressed for weeks/months on end. We... read more
Nice building, atmosphere and general staff. Hope you don't run into issues with management or maintenance. This seems to be a echoing problem in the reviews for a reason. Besides the occasional delayed response to fix things within my apartment, my main issue is how rent is collected. Early in my lease I attempted to set up auto-pay, I don't like to think about monthly payments or risk being late. I'm 32, so technology is not foreign to me at all.
