I would avoid this building at all costs, I lived there twice and both time management tried to steal from me at move out. They have no shame about it either.
I recently did a short term 9-month lease with my partner in the Atlantic building (he lived there previously for 4+ years) and have been extremely disappointed in my move out experience involving building management. We’re being charge $700+ in damages for very normal wear and tare (small paint touch ups and a mounted TV) after not even living there a full year. EDITED* BEWARE! I have lived in this building for over 4 years and the building and staff is great but the management is terrible. I am being told that they did not keep my security deposit in an escrow account and they will not be returning my security deposit to me. I provided proof that the leasing manager told me I would receive this payment back and I have the ledger showing my security deposit. I lived at The Atlantic for close to 2 years. The amenities are incredible and the on-site staff are top notch. Our family felt VERY taken care of throughout my time here. Great Location - Great Community - Great Management
The apartment is overall good. Pros are (1) good location, (2) good amenities, and (3) some staffs are thoughtful and professional, such as the resident relations manager who is willing to listen to residents and fix problems. Cons are certain services are not good: (1) no introduction of alternative payment methods that help resident to decrease/avoid high convenience fee; (2) no timely response regarding feedbacks from resident’s submitted move-in list, which contains malfunctioned ceiling light and dents on the floor; and... read more
