Took 1st place in the BC Cycling Championships 1 yr post knee replacement (TKR) and 1-1/2 yr post hip replacement (THR) surgeries. Michelle and Josh at The Athlete Centre have been instrumental in my recovery while monitoring my status and adapting and fine tuning my ongoing training and its comprehensive program. While I've made huge gains we aren't done yet, but are definitely on the right path.

I went to the Center because I woke up with my back completly blocked. The pain was getting bad and I called hoping to get a quick appointment. They found me an appointment with physiotherapist Leo Falzon only 2.5 hours after calling. I had a warm welcome from the receptionist, the appointment lasted almost an hour, the physiotherapist took the time to question me, was really professional, he massaged the painful area for a long time in different positions, explained each of his movements to me, gave me very good advice and ... read more
