Apartment from Hell? Maybe... My husband and I were initially thrilled about moving into this apartment complex. However, our enthusiasm quickly diminished after just three weeks of residency due to persistent maintenance issues. The archer almost killed my cat This building has some great things about it (see below). But, they almost killed my cat this weekend. And the office management borders on negligent. We were out of town for a 5 day period starting Wednesday. During a "routine inspection" Wednesday afternoon, maintenance chased down our cat and lock him in a room with no food or water until we returned Sunday night. Absolutely abhorrent. Horrible Place to Live The only good thing about the Archer is its location. It is run by horrible staff who treat the residents horribly. There are two elevators in the building and at any given time one of the them is out of function. I know of people who have gotten TRAPPED in the elevators. Very poor communication from the staff. The residents just do not seem to be a priority. The leasing office is very inconvenient to get a hold of and when you do get a hold of them they are extremely unhelpful. Not worth the rent Do yourself, and your wallet, a favor and find somewhere better to live. While the tour makes everything look shiny and top of the line, after moving in you will quickly realize that its all cheap and breaks easily. For the first month in the apartment I had no hot water in my shower even though I submitted numerous work orders. Explored Several Options - Went With The Archer Hard to find any faults with this place- Have lived here for a few months and the staff is super helpful, with any issues been addressed within a couple days- Very quiet with well-insulated walls so I don't hear the neighbors- Great location and literally a 1-2 minute walk to a grocery store and multiple restaurants/bars- Exposed pillars add character and pay homage to the original structure- My guests are always impressed- Highly recommended

Your Next Home is at The Archer! I walked in The Archer on a Tuesday afternoon looking for a place to rent ASAP. I had an appointment the next day in which Amanda showed me several places. After having invested so much money in renovations, the building looked incredible. The "Welcome Home" sign in the leasing office was spot on- I knew this was my next home. Worst Apartment I've ever lived in 1. No hot water. Yes, you heard me. My apartment does not have hot water. It hasn't for 2 months. Occassionally, if you run the water for 30 minutes (managements solution), the water becomes bearable. Otherwise, it's cold showers every morning. 2. Archer Apartments The great downtown location of this property is more than offset by the extremely poor management by the staff. I have lived here for a year now and words cannot begin to describe how excited I am to be leaving in September. The staff are extremely callous and do not respect or treat the residents with any ounce of dignity. Anonymous Stay away!!! Newly renovated apartments, but with pour quality construction. If you try to clean the painted walls with even water, it will take the one coat of paint right off. There is still construction going on and even though it was promised to be done by March of this year! Management is horrible and are not normally there during their designated concierge hours.
