I spoke to Ron, the owner, after his technician, Steve, charged my friend Helen $80 for a Samsung refrigerator repair he couldn't do. The problem was immediately apparent (a plastic hinge). Steve spent less than 10 minutes looking for the part online, then gave up and charged her $80 for nothing. He told her the part was discontinued and unavailable. In case you don't normally read an entire review, let me start off by saying that these guys are a total ripoff. I called Appliance Doctor to fix the ice maker on my LG refrigerator. The woman on the phone was pretty friendly. She set up an appointment and said 2 repair men came by. They spent about 10 minutes and determined that the ice maker was broken and had to be changed. They ordered it and came back in 2 days when it was delivered. They removed the old ice maker, which was 5 screws and an electrical plug. It ... read more
