Unsanitary, unpleasant and ROACHES at JAS Apartments! JAS Apartments is horrible! Their apartments are gross, their leasing agents lie, and they "lose" rent checks and charge late fees. My apartment has water stains on the ceiling and there are roaches everywhere in the building. They turn the heat on in January and turn it off in June. roaches. filth. bugs. roaches. roaches. roaches. STAY AWAY. jas apartments (now the apartment shop) are slumlords. they refuse to irradicate the systemic roach problem in their buildings, namely 2020 nicollet. avoid at all costs. not worth your time or money.
THE APT SHOP OF HORRORS DO NOT RENT FROM THE APARTMENT SHOP. Their buildings are infested with Roaches, they never return your voicemails, they blast the heat when it's warm out and charge you $100 for heat. I have had massive water leaks as well, they will steal your packages. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.
Apt Shop will take your money. My friend and I lived at 1830 Stevens Ave for a 3 month lease, and our experience was horrible. We contacted the main office for issues with roaches, mice and wifi. They answered 3 times in 2 weeks, scheduled times for maintenance to come, and never came. It wasn't until I threatened to send them a bill for a professional to come out and handle it that they sent a person to come look at our apartment. Run. Run away fast. This apt company sucks. If you're willing and able to put up with cockroaches, leaky ceilings, unreturned phone calls, employees who don't know what the hell they're talking about, and no heat when it's 40 degrees out- this place is for you!
Stuck here for 8 more months. Roach motel with shit breaking down all the time like the door to the laundry room!
Steve Frenz is shady. We have no hot water during the day during the entire month of December=NO SHOWERS FOR WORK. He refuses to fix it because, I finally called the city. DO NOT RENT FROM THE APARTMENT SHOP!!
