Great Food in a Bar I love the Alibi. It is on the plaza in Arcata. The steaks here are some of the best in Humboldt County. The prices can't be beat for the quality and the quantity that you get. Lunch time can get busy due the locals coming in from aound town but it is worth the wait (I've never waited long). The atmosphere....well, it's a bar. The booths are not the most comfortable but the food and the price make up for it. I take all my out of town visitors here and everyone has loved the food and the price.
A bar with great cooked food! The Alibi is a full service diner to anyone during the day time. Last time i was there, i had an order of fish & chips that left me wanting more. Their pricing is standard for a diner and worth the money. Later in the night, its life as a bar comes when they stop admitting persons under 21 years of age.
