We just wrapped up an on-site moving help job at The Alexander at Ghent Apartment Homes. A resident here decided to move from one apartment to another right inside the building. I seriously debated writing a review in fear that management would treat me poorly if I did but I am fed up. The location is great but there are too many bugs and problems. I moved here in June. The leasing process was a hassle. The first 2 bed apartment I applied for was taken by someone else. Fine, I'll accept 1 bedroom. I just did not want to be on the first floor. I never get a lease, have to call and text regularly to make sure I have signed lease 4 weeks before moving in but they "don't have staff to keep up." They fin... read more
We have lived here for about a month — so far we haven’t had any large issues. We had a few problems when we moved in and maintenance fixed them immediately or that same week. We love the location and the security of the parking garage. Everyone here is really nice and management is super sweet as well — it’s walkable to groceries and restaurants. Will update if something changes but so far I wouldn’t let the bad reviews deter you from this place. I also would like to say we have had NO ISSUES with roaches or any pests— they... read more
