Located on a prime spot just over the Pacific Coast Highway, this restaurant has a fabulous view of the Pacific Ocean. Inside, the whaling ship motif is reflected in the carved, beachwood, whale-shaped beams that hold up the chunky beamed ceiling. The large dining room is filled with sea themed art and white covered tables. The menu consists mostly of surf and turf offerings. Favorites include both the large steaks and the fresh catches of the day. Brunch is served on Sundays. A full bar is available.

It's always in our top 5 restaurants with excellent service, food and of course the sunset views.
We went there for Easter lunch and the best part about this restaurant was the view - simply amazing. Other than that, the service and food were very meh - our server (server #47) took forever to take our food order and she seemed to have a negative attitude. I was on a clear broth diet that day and she seemed bothered when I asked questions about the lentil soup. After what seemed like forever, she finally came back and said "so the soup has changed, it's now black eyed peas soup", which ended up being very bland - I could ... read more
