Located on a prime spot just over the Pacific Coast Highway, this restaurant has a fabulous view of the Pacific Ocean. Inside, the whaling ship motif is reflected in the carved, beachwood, whale-shaped beams that hold up the chunky beamed ceiling. The large dining room is filled with sea themed art and white covered tables. The menu consists mostly of surf and turf offerings. Favorites include both the large steaks and the fresh catches of the day. Brunch is served on Sundays. A full bar is available.

So my husband ART wanted a special restaurant for his sister TAMMY's 70th birthday celebration and tried to think of the BEST of the BEST with an ocean view and outstanding service (thank you KEVIN) and excellent food preparation (thank you Chef & staff) ADMIRAL RISTY was the place of choice! It was a fantastic evening and now has become Tammy & David's favorite restaurant, too!!! It was PERFECT!!
Best Flank steak ever !!! Croutons are the bomb! Love the Admiral Risty, it's been a jewel in the Palos Verdes area for 30+ years.
amazing food and service! Not to mention the view!
Went there last night and was utterly disappointed! I don't know which is worse, the slow service due to lack of staff, or the owner's lack of concern about our comments! Gotta say, I used to love this place, now, I don't. I doubt I'll ever return!
Just the best food in the South Bay. We don't wait for special occasions anymore to dine here.
Consistently good good, nice wine list, old school ambiance, friendly waitstaff and a view to die for!
Excellent service and very nice place with a beautiful view.
