Beats others for Veg Fare – I'm not sure how the meaty dishes are, but I am very happy for Thai Singha, as Pattya across the way labels dishes as vegetarian but uses fish sauce. The food is excellent at Thai Singha.

Poor food – We did not enjoy the food at all here. We did not find the food authentic. The lemongrass soup was spicy but tasteless. The chicken in the green currey was over cooked. The chicken satay was dry. We have lived in Asia for years, and this food would not pass the grade in Thailand or in Asia. Service was mediocre. Overall, we were dissapointed with this experience.

Always delightful – I always enjoy eating here. The food is reasonably priced and yummy. It's not top-of-the-line, amazing Thai food, but definitely tasty enough to come back for. I usually just order tofu pad thai, and they are always happy to accommodate my specifications on certain dishes- I usually ask them to hold the mushrooms and give me pineapple instead. The Thai iced tea is alright, but I find it to be a little bitter for some reason. It doesn't really bother me though, I still end up ordering it anyway. Try the Ba... read more

We were not impressed. – Me and my co-worker just ordered food from this restaurant because the other reviews said it was good. We beg to differ. The chicken in the red curry was dry and overcooked. The Yen Ta 4 was less than appetizing. The seafood was also overcooked and very chewy. Our meals were dissappointing to say the least. Maybe the in-dining experience is better than the take-out, but we won't be finding out.

Very clean! Amazing food! – This is really one of the best places to experience Thai cuisine. I've been coming there for 5 years now- I've never been disappointed. The food is fantastic, and the place is extremely clean! On top of that, the prices are great as well. Excellent choice!

Superb food and service – The food was delicious! The best I have had in Philly thus far. We had the Pad Thai and the Cashew Chicken and Shrimp, as well as the wonderful Thai Singha Beer (hoppy with a little kick). The service was fast and the waitresses were very nice. The setting was romantic, yet fine for children and larger groups (~10 people). The portion size was perfect, on the large side. The prices are average ($6.95 - $16.95); a great deal for the amount of food you got. I will definitely be back...

I'll Be Back! Delicious Thai Food.. – I am new to Philly and love Thai cuisine. My friends reccommended some of the Thai restaurants in West Philly...So, I tried Thai Singa House. I enjoyed my first visit to this restaurant. It is traditional thai fare. I came for lunch and had the lunch special for $7.95 [entree, soup and appetizer!]. It's a good deal and gives one the opportunity to explore the menu. I had Mixed vegetables for my entree, which was flavorful and tasty, Lemon grass soup, and my appetizer was Shrimp Shu mai. ... read more
