Dr Teynor is well educated, familiar with appropriate medications, and uses a wholesome approach. He doesn’t throw out meds to see what sticks. He works through them slowly over time and has references for therapists etc to get a full team approach to underlying issues. He expects that the patient will have to work as hard as he does to control symptoms. He is prompt, responsive 100% of the time. Personable, yet professional and REALLY LISTENS!
I worked with Joan who i was referred to by dr. Teynor because he was relocating. I had a terrible experience with doctor teynor who was only helpful when i was stable. When i actually needed him the most he was not there for me. When i was in crisis and my mom forced me to call him he got mad at me and told me not to call that it was “his time.” At my next appointment with him he did not allow my mom to come into my appointment with me so he could berate me and get mad at me for calling.
