I have driven by and seen this place for years, just never dropped in. Well tonight changed that. I used the drive thru, the attendant was very friendly. I had the gyro, which was one of the best ones I have had, granted I am not from chicago and not greek but I did like it. Lots of meet, sliced onions in the pita. I also had onion rings which were fresh and not very greasy at all. I will be going back to this place and trying other items.
Amazing Beef with sausage and sports. The dining area was so clean and the service was amazing. Better than Little John's in Mchenry Ill. I will be back with my family. Did I say the food beef was awesome...I thought was back in Chicagoland.

We are originally from the Chicago area and have been coming to Tex's Star for a while now. George and the staff are wonderful. Never had any problems. Love coming for their Chicago menu especially the Pizza Puffs!
