Love the down-home atmosphere at TexAz, and the Chicken fried steak is some of the best I've ever eaten. Warning, though: we got enough for both my husband and I to eat that night, plus take-out for both of us to enjoy the next day. Should have purchased a side order of the delicious gravy to take home, too. If you are not a big eater, be prepared to share or have lots to take home. ( Oh, gee, what a wonderful problem to have!)
Only Texas folk can appreciate the atmosphere. And the chicken fried steak. .done right. .very friendly wait staff. .loved it. .I will be back

I love this place. The chicken-fried steak is out of this world. It's so big it almost falls off the plate. Get it Terlingua style. So much history and personality in this restaurant.
I had the chicken fried chicken and oh was it good �
I had a Friday special the fish and chips were delish. Very moist love the chips they make slice like potato chips.
