I had the Filet. Nice 8 0z, medium rare...very tender and prepared as asked but left my taste buds bored. There was no flavor at all. Mashed potatos and gravy were great. Not a big fan of the breading on the shrimp but they were huge. Hubby had the Ribeye with the same response. Wish we known about the chicken fried steak before because it looked amazing. I would go back but just to try the Chicken fried steak.
YES YES YES!!! Ive been coming here since I was a kid. Best chicken fried steak in the world. Everyone is super nice that works there too. Very family like.
My Son Christopher Nathaniel & My Son in Law Lupe brought me here for dinner last night and it was AWESOME!! It was so much food that we had to bring it home with us n we ate our leftovers for lunch n was still so good!! I'm visiting from Georgia and I put everything on Facebook so if anyone comes to this area to eat at this AMAZING place.. The service was the BEST!!! Thank You All..
Group of 9 people. They took a reservation, held an extra table while we tried to figure out how many people were actually attending. Food was superb. Group had: grilled catfish, chicken kabobs, filet, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, steak fries, salad. One of the party is a regular. We will all return. Know that the parking SUCKS!! Several parked down/across the street in the Golden Phoenix parking lot.
What a great find! The chicken fried steak was way awesome, huge great flavor, homemade. The brisket was absolutely Texas good.
