I've had Chicken Fried Steak in all of the lower 48 states, TEXAZ Grill is the best!! Steak, batter, gravy, price, and flavor 5 stars.
Stopped in yesterday for Wednesday special of liver and onions and bacon with mashed potatoes country gravy and a side of friend okra! Everything was perfect! Nancy was our waitress! Very friendly, welcoming and efficient!
TexAz is hands-down one of the best restaurants in the Phoenix area. It truly says a great deal about owner, Steve Friedken when much of his staff have worked there for more than 20 years. As a regular customer for more than 25 years, I have never once had a bad meal or bad service. If you’re looking for a trendy scene, this restaurant may not be for you. But if you’re looking for great value, service, and food, you will love it!
The food was amazing and I like that they have the Sunday brunch.
I had the beef brisket sandwich with steak fries, corn and their mac n cheese. It was all delicious. At first I tasted the sauce on the brisket by itself and didn't like it, but it paired perfectly with the beef brisket. The mac n cheese was scrumptious! I usually don't like restaurant mac n cheese but this was cheesy and made perfectly. They also had awesome service and the atmosphere were amazing and completely comfortable. Best country fried steak in Arizona. I loved the atmosphere. The service is great. My daughter loved it.
