fixing up a later model (1972) standard beetle, parts were there . very happy
Even though my Thing got hit by somebody and they didn't tell me ( bastards ) it was great. The park really caters to this event, we had a camper trailer and pick up, a tent trailer and a pick up, Vanagon, and a Thing all in one camp spot. That slows for some really good times.

Except for the major flooding this is always a great event lots of VW's from all over Texas and further have camped two yards in a row but may look into a vrbo this next year, a great swap meet and lots of parties with friends from all over! I have never met a person without some kind of big bug story. if it's not stationed in Europe and treking cross country, it's across the country on spring break in a VW Van or bus!
Great turn out and loving all the VW's! Just a bunch of laid out people hanging out like the good old days. Just wish my bus was running, but next year I'm there!
Best Volkswagen show in Texas and it is family oriented. Anywhere from 200 to 300 Volkswagens turn out with lots of swap meet.
