I am terribly disappointed in this establishment after hearing what happened to my former manager and his fiancé. It is unbelievable how a "manager" could be so quick to judge a couple based on their sexual orientation! Shame on you Texas Roadhouse!!
I am floored over the lack of respect and sensitivity of one of your managers. The fact that you threw a couple out because of their obvious "inconvenience" to you is awful! The rude customers should have been thrown out, not the couple being subjected to hate speech. I used to bring my daughter there frequently, but now will never step foot in there again. Shame on you Texas Roadhouse!
I've been to this location many times to eat and drink. I've always had great food and service. I've never been treated badly for being who I am. Of course I don't get drunk or loud or obnoxious. I was sad to witness the behavior of several people this past Friday night. I think the staff and management there are always exceptional and handle issues appropriately. I'm sorry for the rudeness they think they encountered. But everyone needs to look at their own behaviors.
We ate at Texas Road House every Sunday after church and at least one other day a week, the food was excellent and the service was always great. But unfortunately after Mr.Taylor treated local patrons so badly I will not be eating in your restaurant ever again, the local people are the people who help keep you in business through out the entire year . Mr Taylor should be fired
You will continue loosing customers because of your lack of concern for your customer. You showed disrespect, so I can only believe you would do the same if it was me being called names by someone else. Texas Roadhouse is out of my list of restaurants.
Still no apology or even response from Texas Roadhouse or this page concerning recent events at the Sevierville location. Pathetic. We are local people. We are very well connected to all area attractions including the live theaters, Dollywood, retail, department of tourism- we see thousands of people every day. And we are large in number. Will never give them business....ever. their treatment of individuals is unacceptable.
Don't spend your money or waste your time here!!! Two friends of mine were asked to leave and DONT come back because customers complained that two GAY males were eating there! Regardless of what or who or color or religion anyone is they shouldn't be asked to leave and don't come back to THEIR local Texas Roadhouse! Their policy's need to be closely looked at and changed! You've lost mine and my friends businesses!!
