We traveled to Onalaska to pick a few things up and stopped at Texas Roadhouse as they were honoring vets with a lunch. We were told 45to an hour wait, and since we had no pressing schedule, took the opportunity to wait. Time passed very quickly as we observed first hand the sights, and sounds of staff greeting the vets, the smiles, the extended hand shakes, the respect and kind words of appreciation and conversations with many branches of service. Sheila and Amelia work amazing together behind the bar. We went for Veterans day and they made it run like a well oiled machine! The food was the best it's ever been and it was such a blessing to see so many veterans enjoying themselves. Thank you for hosting such a nice day!!
