Excellent food & a great staff! The music & atmosphere is fantastic, friendly & inviting. And peanuts galore!
Went here on July 4th. I ordered the Country Fried Steak. They should call it Country Fried Steakum. It was so thin I couldn't imagine what was inside the breading. It was extremely salty also. Almost unbearable. I've eaten at their place in North Charleston and found it to be excellent. Maybe a different dish if I ever return. They also need to get themselves in step with their Gluten free menu and train their cooks how important it is that special requests like that are taken seriously. I had a fillet minon that was melt in your mouth delicious!! Even beats out Ruth Chris which is really hard for me to say. Loved the fried pickles...not greasy and heavy like a competitor's. Look forward to dining there again!! Oh and reasonably priced, too for what we had!! $35 each inc tip (split the bill) onion blossom, fried pickles, steak each, baked potato, baked sweet potato, sauteed mushrooms, large salad, two beverages, coffee. :-D
Food was good but everything, steak, baked potato very salty, would not recommend it if you have high blood pressure, they need to lay off the sodium and let people season their own food.
I was there today, service was great, everyone is very friendly, our waiter was awesome, drink menu is fantastic....The place was packed n we still had our food in a short amount of time. But........the steak i ordered was just "ok", expected more from a steak house. Over all would definitely go back, but only for appetizer's n drinks....
I was today in Texas Road house with my family, was a great experience their food are delicious.
Our favorite restaurant so far. Every time we eat there it is a wonderful experience. Food is awesome and service is always well worth a generous tip. We're a family of six and the final bill is always under $100 which is fabulous for great food and service. Love the Roadhouse!
