I live in Bastrop and physically drove to the emergency room in Bastrop. I was transferred to N Austin St Davids. I received a bill from AMR (ambulance) and paid it. I was then told by St Davids I wasn't supposed to pay it since it was an inter facility transfer. St Davids has a contract with AMR. How many others has this happened to in Bastrop? l have been trying to get a refund since last December. AMR also billed my insurance, of course they paid their portion. I want to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses, technicians and social worker for the great care and support they provided when my Dad was in the hospital in January. They were so kind ans respectful and truly helped my brother and I get through this extremely tough time. They were there for us until the end!

I'm absolutely so pleased with the staff of labor and delivery . I have had 3 other c sections , my 4th one here at St. David's South , and St. David's South has been by far the best experience. The nurses were so helpful and amazingly sweet !! They seriously made me feel so good , and we're there for any single thing i needed and they tried to go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The staff here has taken wonderful care of my husband. Being from out of town we were very nervous not knowing the area. Blessed that we made it here. Thank you to all who has touched my husband on his stay.
