Dr. El-Feky is one of a kind! He’s very knowledgeable, genuine, and thorough. He always takes his time to answer my questions and never makes me feel rushed during visits. He is also very responsive to messages in a timely manner. He is empathetic and goes the extra mile to advocate for me as his patient. So blessed to have him as my doctor!
Dr Ek-Feky is a wonderful and caring physician. He diagnosed me with a very rare disease called Transverse Myelitis. If it was nor for his expertise and accurate testing I would have had a very bad outcome. I am so thankful that he listened to my symptoms and ordered testing that was able to find abnormal findings on my MRI. I highly recommend him for his medical skills and his excellent bedside manner. His staff is wonderful and they continue to see patients even through the Covid 19 crisis. I can not thank them enough for ... read more
I am very fond of Dr. El-Feky and his staff. He is kind compassionate and takes his time with his patients. He has treated me with respect and i can not say enough good things about his abilities as a neurologist. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a top notch neurologist.
Dr El-Feky is a very caring and compassionate Dr. He always listens to you and treats you like a part of his family!
After Dr. El-Feky diagnosed me, I saw another expert on the same issue--an issue very important to me--and had an immediate comparison. With the other doctor, I was in and out. Dr. El-Feky took considerable time, listened to me (when I interrupted, he'd stop and listen). He advised me on what to expect and certain things to do. He was kind and present -- and informative. The difference in docs was night and day.
Dr. El-Feky has been my neurologist since 2000. While cleaning out my father's house after his death, grieving and stressed, I suffered a frightening episode of dizziness, a sagging face, slurred speech and the inability to walk. A local small-town ER doctor said I was having transient ischemic attacks, or small strokes. When I returned to Dallas and saw Dr. El-Feky, he ordered several tests and diagnosed an unusual migraine syndrome. I completely trust him with my life.
The worst doctor I've ever been to. He diagnosed me with Small Fiber Neuropathy, and stood there and said.."I'm sorry I can't diagnose you with cancer, as I know how dramatic you are." Totally serious....I went back a couple times as I became more knowledgeable, and he told me to go to the Mayo clinic if I didn't like his answers. Arrogant, dismissive with no empathy whatsoever. I even went to the head honcho at Texas Neurology, as I know they do have some good neurologists. Once you've seen one
Dr. El Feky has been my husband’s physician for several years. During this time, Dr. El Feky has successfully treated my husband for both back issues and cognitive issues. Last Feb. my husband had back surgery which Dr.El Feky coordinated. He didn’t just send us off to a surgeon, he personally visited with both the surgeon and anesthesiologist to insure both had a clear vision of the total person. He is knowledgeable, competent and compassionate. We highly recommend Dr. Waleed El Feky.
I was a patient around two years, and these were some of the worst experiences I have had with a doctor in my entire life. The interaction that had me running in the other direction happened when he decided to call me and harass me over the phone about coming in and seeing him. He was screaming and yelling and his front office staff had to call back and apologize for him. Once he forced my hand and I had to see him, he charged me TRIPLE compared to my last appointment after visiting for 2 mins!
