Yeah, it's beef – Nothing spectacular. Typical chain restaurant with typical chain service. There are so many other GREAT steakhouses in DFW that there is no point wasting your time here.
Not good! – I would never recommend this restaurant! The meat was overcooked and extremely tuff! If you are looking for an steak on the less expensive side Outback is a lot better! We left feeling like we wasted our money! It was that bad!
Overwhelming portions and service to match – Be prepared for a solid, succulent meal. This is a Texas steak house: it isn't Ruth Chris, it isn't Fogo de Chao, and certainly not the Golden Coral. No, this is a Texas steak house. Don't expect frills, cheap items, or infinite portions unless you dine on Monday evening where the Smoked Sirloin is served to order all you can eat. Just OK – I would describe Texas Land and Cattle (TXLC) much like a Lonestar Steakhouse with a bit more ambiance. Had the Spinach and Artichoke Dip appetizer which was interesting given that they serve it with chips and salsa. Salads came out absolutely drenched in dressing so order yours on the side. The bread was great but entrees failed to impress. The Cabernet sirloin steak lacked seasoning, was overpowered by sauce and was cooked medium when ordered medium-rare.
