We have eaten at TL&C for the past 5 years after The American. When we arrived tonight at 8:00 pm. We were told that they would not let us in because there was an hour and 1/2 wait and that “we are closing in 30 minutes”. We will NEVER COME BACK!
I accidentally chose this place and although the staff was amazing, the food was no where near what you would expect for the price. The bread was rock hard. The sides were bland and lukewarm. The steak was good but definitely not the best I’ve had. It’s sad because the establishment is lovely but I won’t be back.
The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly. I had to ask for butter for my baked potatoes 3 times. The dinner rolls were hard and they brought my garden salad with the meal. The original waitress did a great job but the one that brought the food looked like mini mouse with her pig tails and never did bring me extra butter so I finally got the original waitress attention and finally got the butter. Excellent service, food came out very quickly and was delicious! Loved it.
Under new ownership not as good. Under new Management not as good. Mac & Cheese worse than anything out of a box. Menu is sub par to the original Texas, Land, and Cattle menu.Bread with butter is awful.
