All of my VIP doctors are located here and I'm proud patient of theirs and Presbyterian! Although I am not currently being treated there, I was 5 years ago at this time undergoing a double mastectomy due to breast cancer. My gyn and breast surgeon are both in Margot Perot and my plastic surgeon is in the building 2, I would not be here without them and the wonderful medical teams that took care of me! I have had dealing with Presbyterian over the years. I hate to see them bad mouthed. Ebola should of never come to the USA. If it weren't for Obama there would of been a no fly hold on anyone coming from the parts of Africa affected. There is such a thing as checking passports also. We were not totally equipped for Ebola. I feel that everything possible was done to save these patients. No one received less care for any reason. I know this in my heart. That everything that could be done was. One of the best hospitals ever!
Phenomenal facility! I stand behind your facility and fellow Texas nurses. My heart and prayers go out to all for the recent media frenzy, as this could have been Any Hospital, USA. None of us were prepared for this horrific disease and we are all learning about prepardness in the aftermath of recent events. It's unfortunate that your wonderful facility was used as an example. Please know that you all have much love and support from surrounding hospital nurses in the metroplex. Prayers for everyone in this difficult time.
Media hype over this hospital is confusing to me. I am currently here and have NO FEAR. Doctors are top notch, staff is top notch and the hospital cleanliness appears top notch. If I lived in this area, which I do not, I would not bat an eye in coming to this hospital. I hear this nurse making the "liberal media swing" throwing out accusations left and right. Best Hospital in whole wide world...
I want to admit I have not been treated at this hospital, but that said, after hearing and seeing all the facts the recent ebola outbreak which this hospital has been involved I would NOT go here if I got sick. First they send the victim home, second two nurses get sick, and one gets on a plane with symptoms. Horrible and unforgiveable missteps. They are playing with peoples lives here.
