They are simply awful. Its very difficult to even get in touch with them on the phone. When you try to leave a voicemail, you have to listen to a very lengthy message that goes on and on forever. Dr. Mireles, it is VERY RUDE of you to force your patients to listen to such a long message when they call in! If you have that kind of time in your schedule, then it shouldn't be a problem, but I suspect most people don't have that kind of time. They don't care about the patients at all. This practice does not know how to manage their appointments. First, it took us 2 months to get in. Then the day of our appointment they closed their office due to bad weather and rescheduled us. Finally the day of our appointment we arrive 20 minutes early as requested and sat there for an hour watching every child be called back and completed their visit with the doctor. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this practice to anyone. The office staff is absolutely terrible. I found them to be passive aggressive, unprofessional and forget about communication! We have been seeing a physician here for three years. Fortunately, we only go in one time per year which is why I have put up with this for so long. I'm so sad to say we have left the practice not because of the doctors but because of their staff. There are so many wonderful peds neurologists in the Dallas area. Avoid this medical practice. We have a very sick child in our family and have seen many professionals in the Dallas area. We have been very impressed with every single one of them except this office and it's doctors. When we arrived for our first appointment, the concern was not of our child, but how payment would be made. I have insurance, so it shouldn't have been an issue, but was a sticking point for the office manager, and no one had even said hello to my child yet. The bill.....over $300.
