On March 28, 2024, I faced an unethical business practice during the purchase of a vehicle at Texas Auto, located at 16200 Highway 3, Webster, TX 77598-2101. I had previously agreed upon the price for a 2020 Infiniti, as listed on their online platform. I arranged full payment, including all taxes and fees, and traveled several hours with the check to finalize the purchase. Upon my arrival, the dealership staff informed me that the vehicle price would be increased by $3,000 due to an additional "package" that they insisted w... read more

If not giving a star was possible I would give a Zero. The will give you a faulty vehicle with preexisting issues, tells you there's nothing wrong/ its been fully serviced and it runs fine. Then take your money. Once the car messes up on you, within your warranty time, they give you the run around and say they'll have someone call you. No one calls you. They'll keep this up until your warranty runs out and then say there's nothing they can do and that's it negligence on your end if anything is wrong with your car. No one wan... read more

Don't come here. Initially, they seemed nice and friendly - very eager to sell us a car. Upon purchasing said car, we noticed numerous issues with the car, costing over $2k in fixes. We purchased an "as is" car, so that was not the issue. The issue is upon asking for the initial 98-point inspection done on the car, no one would answer their phone or email after numerous attempts. Upon physically going into the store and waiting, we were promised the report by three MANAGERS, but to no avail. Further, we spent an additional $... read more

Texas Auto salesperson, Karla Martinez, and her sales manager are asking customers seeking financing to submit photos of the driver's license and proof of insurance to the salesperson's personal phone via text messaging. This is unacceptable! State consumer data protection laws and regulations require businesses to use best practices. This process and procedure falls short of the requirements. I do not want the salesperson to have my personal data (images) saved to their personal phones. Imagine how much personal consumer da... read more

A different Salesman than the one we had dealt with sent harassing text messages to my wife and I after walking away from sale. Bait and switch, bogus fees, active police investigation. After speaking with the sales manager Casey on the phone and agreeing upon a sale price and trade in price I drove my family in from out of town. After three hours of total **I got back to the finance desk. There was almost $1,000 worth of garbage fees and charges that were not agreed upon including $399 glass etching $299 dealer services fee... read more

We purchased our 2012 Qx56 ******* on May 27th (Memorial Day). We drove all the from Mississippi to test drive and possibly purchase the truck. After we purchased it we were told we couldn't drive it home that day because we were out of state. Per Chris(GM) this was company policy. They finally agreed to ship it to us at their cost after several discussions based on what the sales guy Lonnie had told us. We received the truck on JUNE 6TH and as of JUNE 20th the truck is in the repair shop for replacment of an alternator and ... read more

I bought a used ****** ********** (still under factory warranty) from this dealership. Sales and Finance were not clear about all of the charges that would be associated with the loan. They tried to charge me almost $2000 in ridiculous fees (Window Tinting/Wheel Locks $1000; Dealer Fee $299; Protection Fee $399; Dent Repair $299). I was rushed to sign the paperwork so that I wouldn't notice half of these fees. On top of all that, the "Check Engine Light" came on one day after purchase. I took the SUV to a ****** dealership t... read more
