Great food, great atmosphere, waitress was awesome.
Any pie is great! They even have a pie hour if you wanted to skip the food but I would recommend getting a meal and getting a pie. You won’t be disappointed.
This was my first time at the Texan Cafe. The chicken fried steak, gravy and mashed potatoes were excellent. But, the lemon meringue pie was absolutely the best I've ever eaten. I currently live in Las Vegas and will be moving to Pflugerville in six weeks. The Texan Cafe will definitely be a regular restaurant for me😁😁😁
Awesome down home food great service and amazing pies!
Great food, I had the chopped steak, it was great! Topped it off with a piece of coconut cream pie - equally fabulous. The restaurant manages to capture the feel of mama's kitchen and dining room. I highly recommend this place!
awsome down home style cooking, great staff and owners Warren and Jenny Smith. The pies are to die for so never leave without taking one home.
The fried catfish is amazing & gluten friendly. The coconut cream pie is delicious as well. I just ate the filling because I’m gluten free.
The trout was great. Stay away from the country lima beans. They are served in a sweet white sauce. Pie was awesome
