RecommendedReally loved this quaint little place. Had the chicken tacos - they were excellent and not skimpy at all. Came with two sides. I chose refried beans and Mexican rice. Also, they have a salsa bar and great tortilla chips. Lots of hot sauce choices too. Also, every single person working either greeted us or told us to have a great day. Super great service and very friendly people!! I'll definitely be going back!
My husband and I stopped in for our first visit on Saturday! We both had a Taco platter with the chips and queso and guacamole. I tried the beer battered fish, Carne Asada and pork and pineapple pastor. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. We will definitely be visiting again when we're in the Madison area.
I wanted something different for my baby shower so we ordered a catered taco bar from Tex Tubbs! It was absolutely perfect! The tacos were amazing and all my guests loved the food. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
My 11 yr old son and I ate here yesterday after being recommended on the Madison Area Vegans Facebook page, and we were not disappointed. We got the vegan nachos to split, and we both thought they were delicious. We would definitely go again. The hostess and server were both great, too.
I'm visiting Madison this week with a group of my coworkers from Texas. We came to Tex Tubb's on Saturday after work and we kinda don't want to ever leave! The atmosphere is great, the margaritas were delicious & the salsa & tacos were f'ing fantastic! Even though they were super busy, the waitstaff was attentive & approachable (thanks Finley) At one point, the manager Chris came to give us a special Wisconsin welcome with some spectacular churros.
