It’s a very beautiful hotel a stunning building. Built in 1926, 100 Years ago ! Love the building! But the thing is The Tea Party I went there it’s incredibly expensive. You get just a couple of scones and a small pot of tea—it’s very pricey. For that kind of money, they could have offered so much more, but instead, you get a couple of cookies, couple of scones and a small pot of tea all for $280 or $300! I recently visited this hotel with my wife and was highly disappointed by the behavior of a staff member. While we were enjoying our stay, we overheard a young man named Paul, possibly a manager or supervisor, making inappropriate remarks about my wife in Spanish, calling her names and using obscenities behind her back, thinking we wouldn’t understand. We had an outstanding stay at The St. Regis Washington, D.C. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional.
