The person who called me about my appointment was curt and rude and told me to make sure to be there 10 min early. I am an elementary school teacher who has to juggle kids so I can leave early. I got there only to have to wait more than an hour to see Dr. Giles. I am told they are short handed. Ok... understand that. Then I see Dr. Giles... she is nice but she really didn't prepare me well for nail removal. Dr Giles is an excellent doctor who cares and is competent and knowledgeable in the podiatry field. I also believe her faith in Christ is essential to her life and practice.
I saw Dr. Giles in the Simpsonville office. She was wonderful. I would give it 5 stars, but the front desk staff is awful. They are curt and when making an appointment, they fire off questions - no thank you and not pleasant. Same experience in the office - they are rude. No matter how good a physician may be, the interaction with staff is part of it and this is just unpleasant. I implore the physicians to take note of this and hire some positive and helpful staff
I would not recommend using this facility as they are too worried about insurance than solving an issue !! I called to schedule a new patient appointment and talked to a Michelle she made me get my card to see if it indicated a ppo or hmo. When it was neither as I had already told her my insurance doesn’t require me to have a referral she then asked someone who was unfamiliar with some one having insurance without a ppo or hmo & she then wanted me to call the insurance and ask them.
